Teamwork offers the opportunity to view designs from many perspectives, producing a well-rounded design. There are many professions that come together to complete a building project, therefore, teamwork is essential in this field.

Programs
On a regular basis, I use AutoCAD, SketchUp, Layout, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Suite. I have experience with Revit and Archicad and understand the basics of Microsoft Project. In my spare time, I have been teaching myself Blender for rendering.

Life is ever changing so why not learn something new every day! I am always striving to expand my knowledge base, whether it's seminars, studying for accreditations, or general research into new building technologies.

Creative
Sketching is an important first step to developing new ideas and pushing boundaries. The best part about starting a new project is sketching out all the possibilities, from one idea to the next...then pairing it down to the best.

I always have a running task list whether at work or home. It ensures that nothing is forgotten!

Adventurous
I like to keep busy, whether it's social gatherings, travel, or DIY projects. Travel is a passion of mine, so far I've travelled to Iceland, Nova Scotia, Germany, Netherlands, and Newfoundland, but plan to do lots more!
